At least four people were injured in a shooting at Morgan State University in Baltimore, in an incident that triggered an active shooter warning on campus as authorities urged students to seek shelter.

The Baltimore Police Department ended its active-shooter warning nearly two hours after issuing it, following which the university lifted its shelter-in-place order on campus.
The police did not say how many shooters were involved in the incident and they had managed to apprehend any suspects.
The four people injured in the shooting had “non-life-threatening injuries”, the Associated Press reported, citing police officials.
The Baltimore Banner cited a city council member who spoke with the police and said he believed that there were three shooters who fired at a crowd of students.
The incident took place during a busy week at the school ahead of its homecoming game on Saturday.
